Trade vs investment
The stocks I bought are both trades. I bought 19 stocks for each of my companies. I bought Walmart for $78.20 per share. I also bought the Hershey's co for $99.24 per share. The catalyst for both of my companies is the upcoming Easter holiday. As Easter get closer I believe both of my stocks will go up at least $5 per share. Near the end of my catalyst event I will sell both of stocks. I will do this because I don't want the business to slow down so much that the price of the shares will go down.

Target and Starbucks
I bought target at $59.80 per share, the current price is $61.50. I bought a total of five shares. I bought stocks in target because when I looked at the graphs and charts on yahoo finance I could see a lot of ups and very few downs. When target did get down it seemed to have no problem going back up and continue to improve. In the future I think it will make it to $70 per share and that is when I plan on selling it. At this time I would make a $51 profit. Now if I would have gone in strong and bought more stocks I could come out strong.
I bought Starbucks at $74.63 per share and the current price is $71.48. For this one I bought only 3 shares. I'm afraid Starbucks has let me down, I had my hopes up for it. I had thought it would go up because on the graphs that's were I thought it was going. I was hoping it would get to at least $$75 and because it keeps going down I will sell it.

Black Jack vs. stock market
Playing black jack is similer to the stalk market because both can be a risk. You are putting you money in hopes to get your money back plus making a profit. In both " games" you put you money in and by the end you want your money out and leave what profit you gain in so that you in a sence are not losing any of your money. Both the stock market and black jack you can win big as long as you play your hand right, but the odds aren't always in your favor, there is a chance to lose no matter how you play your game.
