Salary
I make $250,000 a year working for waste management in Quzhou China. My Gross is $250,000. This is my total earnings before losing anything. My Net after taking out the state tax (25%) is $62,500 equals $187,500. Then the Net after taking out the social security tax (30%) is $56,250 equals $131,250. The Net is what actually goes in my pocket after all the taxes are taken out. My final Net ends up being $131,250.

Black Jack
Walking into the class room and getting poker chips was a little strange to me. I have a little back ground of playing black jack, so I had a general idea on what was going on. I have never really been very good at the game. And during the game I didn't do good, but I didn't do terribly bad either. When I heard some of the roles and ways to beat the dealer,mi would love to try again and see if I could do better.
Trade vs. Investments (Absent)
Trades and Investments are different in many ways. Both have their ups and downs. For instance a trade is usually not going to be affected by dividends because the stocks that are traded aren't held long enough for dividends to affect them. This can be somewhat of a disadvantage. The positive thing about trades is that it can often be easier to make money faster than an investment because you don't hold the stock for as long as you would hold an investment. The perks of an investment is you hold the stock for long enough that you are going to get a dividend if your stock offers one. On top of that, investments are bought with the future in mind. They aren't intended to be bought and sold soon after. When someone buys an investment, they are intending to ride it out until a certain time when they will sell it for, potentially, a much higher price. This also allows for the stock to potentially split which could cause the price of the stocks to skyrocket depending on the initial worth. Although trading may earn you more money upfront, investing is meant to earn you significantly more money, most of the time, just in the long run.

Thursday’s activity
He stopped us in the hall way with the doors shut. The lights
were off and we were told to leave everything in the hallway. After about five
min of waiting we were let in. Lights were flashing; noises were overwhelming
and very distracting. Candy was scattered all over the place, from the table
tops to the floor. The only thought going through my mind was “candy! Go, go, go!”
I rushed in and grabbed everything I could; I started to stuff my pockets full.
I noticed most everything disappearing fast so I picked up the pace, I seen a
lot of tootsie pops on the tables so I rushed and got a lot of them. When
everything was picked up the market was open. I had no idea what was going on
so I just kind of stood there protecting my stalks. Some people started to
really get into it. As the tootsie pops went up I noticed a lot of people come
to me looking to buy. It was hard to say no so some of the offers I was given. I
know now that I would not make it out in the real world of stalks. It was a lot
of fun and a great learning experience.

20% Project
My 20% project is going off the idea that sitting is the new smoking. I would like to try to get the kids in school to be more active. I was originally thinking of changing the class room environment but then that i would have to have a cost consideration. Then I had the idea of doing a short activity before class starts but that would take time out of learning. So the idea I'm leaning toward is to have a flash mob type situation in the commons. Not anything bad but start playing music and get people to dance. We have a five minute passing period so why not use 1-11/2 minutes to dance and get the kids more active. My plans for October is to have the idea passed by the principle and to also have the music chose that I will play. And hopefully have our first dance session. I am also hoping to make this a regular thing at this school, so that people look forward to it.
