March 20%

Accomplishments in March: I have gotten more then enough information to make people aware of the importance of sleep. I have researched many different options to create awareness of the side affects of not enough sleep.

What I didn't get accomplished: I have not started creating my public awareness. I feel like I have not found a way to present my information in a way that is interesting to me. A way that will catch the attention of the readers. 

What I hope to accomplish in April: I will get some posters and such to put around the school to start my awareness program. I will find a way to get people involved in my project. Find a way to get people excited about sleep. I hope to get my project to move forward.

Dear me,

In the future the skills I will need to succeed are, good work ethic, people skills and be able to have fun while getting my work done.

Good work ethic is good to have no matter what job you go into. This skill with get you far in life and will help you keep your job. 

To have people skills is important, no matter what you do your going to have to work people so it would be a lot more easy to be on there good side.

A job is boring if you can't have fun while working. So the key is to learn to have fun while you are getting your work done.

Daylight savings

Does changeing the clock an hour really make your day any longer? That's like saying you can cut the top of your blanket and sew it to the bottom to make it longer. To change the clock in the spring you lose an hour of sleep, in an effort to get more daylight. But in all reality you don't gain or lose any daylight, no matter how you change the clock the daylight will always be the same. I personally like daylight savings because it allows me to enjoy more sunlight during the day and not have to get up super early. Even tho it does not extend the day it shifts the day where people like me who are not morning people can enjoy the sunrise. In the summer I like to sleep in a little but don't like to miss my oppertunitys to enjoy the sun, so it a since of moving the clock people can enjoy the sun for longer if you don't want to get up earlier.

Accomplishments and goals for my 20% project

Acomplished in Feb: Got in contact with Mr. O'Nile. Got a lot of info on the importance of sleep.

Goals for March: to get a LOT more info on everything and set up a place and time to meet up with Mr. O'Nile again. I also need to come up with ways to get my information our to the public. In doing this I need to come up with a way to make facts about sleeping intoresting, but not put people to sleep.
